Chemical Defense Spray Class
TN State approved security defense spray course
Service Description
Required by the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance to carry a chemical agent while on security officer duty. Course is 4 hours. During this class the following topics will be addressed: what chemical agents are, Scoville Heat Units, the use-of-force continuum, nomenclature of the spray canister, how to hold the canister, spray patterns, de-contamination techniques, legal considerations, how to carry the canister, and what to do after you have sprayed an individual. The student must take a written exam at the end of the class. A passing grade of 70% or more is required for successful completion. Student exposure to the chemical agent is required. A state chemical agent certification card is issued upon successful completion of the class.

Participant may only reschedule one (1) time with a minimum of 48 hours' notice. Otherwise, a new class will need to be booked and appropriate payment paid. If you have a group of participants that will be attending, use coupon code GROUP10 for a group of 2-6 participants, and GROUP20 for a group of 6-10 participants for special group prices. If less participants than the group paid for attend, the payment will be adjusted to reflect the correct amount per person. Any participant that uses any coupon without the appropriate group size or employment status will be refused participation and will be dismissed.
