TN Armed Guard
Permit
Explore the curriculum and exceed the requirements for acquiring your armed security guard permit in Tennessee. In this class, students will receive instruction on the legal limitations on the use of a firearm: Handling of a firearm, Safety and maintenance of firearms. Students must pass a written exam and a firearms shooting exam.

De-escalation and
Safe Restraint
Techniques
This training provides the armed/unarmed security officers the additional training required in an environment where alcohol is sold & consumed. This training allows the officer to be in compliance with regulations set forth from the Department of Commerce and Insurance. Upon completion of this training, students will be effectively trained in de-escalation and safe restraint techniques.

A.V.E.R.T®
Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) gives you the tools to understand how to recognize warning signs, react quickly in an active shooter situation, and learn how to control bleeding in life-threatening situations. AVERT is active shooter response training with the addition of techniques on how to stop the bleed of victims.

Cross® CPR/First
Aid/AED- Adult and
Pediatric
Equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements.

Chemical Defense
Spray
During this class the following topics will be addressed: Nomenclature of the spray canister, How to hold the canister, Spray patterns, De-contamination techniques, Legal Considerations, How to carry the canister, and What to do after you have sprayed an individual.

NRA® F.I.R.S.T. Steps Pistol Orientation
Firearm Instruction, Responsibility, and Safety Training is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol action type.
