Service Description
Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) gives you the tools to understand how to recognize warning signs, react quickly in an active shooter situation, and learn how to control bleeding in life-threatening situations. AVERT is active shooter response training with the addition of techniques on how to stop the bleed of victims. When violence occurs, seconds count, and you can't always wait for EMS to arrive. AVERT is an active shooter training course that also enables you to become an immediate responder by learning emergency stop the bleed techniques. AVERT teaches how to: • Recognize warning signs using situational awareness • Decide whether to escape, evade or attack • Apply critical stop the bleeding techniques • Respond quickly and confidently in an emergency Active shooter incidents are unpredictable, and they can evolve rapidly. During the chaos, anyone involved can play a vital role in lessening the impact of an active shooter incident. Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) prepares your team with active shooter training resources that help you and your organization understand warning signs and respond to a potential active shooter incident. Recent active shooter incidents have shown the importance of a rapid response. Every second counts when active violence occurs and active shooter training with AVERT teaches you the tools that allow you to quickly react and make decisions on whether to escape, evade, or attack. AVERT was developed by professionals with expertise in law enforcement, private security, and the medical field. The training teaches active shooter response training skills that are accessible for anyone. The active shooter training and bleeding control skills in AVERT have been taught in corporations, churches, government buildings, schools, healthcare facilities and venues. Cancellation Policy
Participant may only reschedule one (1) time with a minimum of 48 hours' notice. Otherwise, a new class will need to be booked and appropriate payment paid. If you have a group of participants that will be attending, use coupon code GROUP10 for a group of 2-6 participants, and GROUP20 for a group of 6-10 participants for special group prices. All employees of BLACK FLAG SECURITY, LLC enter code EMP for a special employee discount. Group prices are only accepted with one form of payment. If less participants than the group paid for attend, the payment will be adjusted to reflect the correct amount per person. Any participant that uses any coupon without the appropriate group size or employment status will be refused participation and will be dismissed.
